248. Shag’s Musical Diary

Occasional pages from the diary of Shag, Coach of the New Zealand Sumfony Orchestra, that have mysteriously found their way to Ned’s inbox.

Got a message from some bloke called Ned saying he’s back in the country after hiding a swag of Maketu product in northern situations. And that he’ll show me the treasure map if I find a place for him on the Coupe Mondiale tour later this year as an assistant baggage handler. Sounds like a loon, but if he can provide proof of pastry, I might have to let Julian know that there’s a new kid on the block who’s pretty big too and says he’s fair lightning over the first two metres.

She’s been a beaudy few weeks at the beach. The barbie’s had a fair bash, and it’s nearly time to load up the trailer with the empties for a clinking trip to the tip. Back to work, and watching the boys limber up for their season with a bit of the Super Dooper Trouper Tunes stuff.

Crikey, that four years went pretty fast, didn’t it?

About Ned Davy

By hokey, the big fella’s tipped into his 50s. A rangy loose forward in his prime, good with the ball in hand, but rarely up with the play any more.
