It’s a sad, sad day at La Casa del Davy. Robin White (aka Robin the Rabbit) has passed away.
She was, as I was fond of mumbling in my charmingly curmudgeon-like manner, “the luckiest rabbit in the history of Christendom”. She had a fully fenced backyard to run and dig, and pots of herbs to snooze in, and she was overfed at least twice a day on the best store bought produce, and the lady next door would pass the choicest, greenest tips of weeds through the fence for her to nibble.
Most of all Robin had LittleDavyTwo, who would cradle her, and stroke her, and talk to her, and generally treat her as the most fabulous creature on earth. We all need a bit of that.
And in return, Robin would come scampering whenever she heard LittleDavyTwo’s voice. And that was all that only ever mattered to her father.
